Knife Fighting.

As we know, our streets are not getting any safer and possessing a set of fighting skills to help you avoid a violent situation is essential but having the skills to deal with violence should it not be avoidable is critical. Knives are a great equalizers when faced with an imminent and deadly threat. They are small, easy to carry and conceal, quick into action, extremely effective, good ones don’t break or jam up, they don’t misfire, their easy to acquire and in the hands of someone who knows how to use them, up close and personal, they are deadlier and faster into action than a concealed handgun.  If you are attacked and in fear of being killed, knives are PRICELESS, but again, only if you know how to effectively use them. Many people carry knives on them on a daily basis but have absolutely no idea on how or when to tactically open and engage an imminent threat with one. This is a Six hour (10-4pm) no-nonsense, and aggressive course on making distance, deploying, and engaging a lethal threat who is trying to kill you, should escape not be possible. This course focuses on utilizing the common 2.5-3 inch folding pocket knife that so many people carry, but the skills and techniques can easily transition to the typical non-folding hunting/ military/kitchen knife. Sorry, no cool ninja knife throwing or fancy Hollywood knife dancing, and there is no typical dojo hand/arm trapping, disarming or constant drilling BS during this one day, six hour course.  Topics include: 1.  What makes a good ‘folding pocket knife’. 2.  Grip, stance and body movements. 3.  Deploying the folder during calm as well as under duress. (deploying from concealment in less than 1 second 4.  Targeting and manipulating the attacker. only $100 Limited to only four students *All students are vetted for these courses You must either be Law Enforcement, Security Professional, current or prior military, a current student at Street Combatives or accepted by Ron Lauinger personally in order to attend this training course.   I do reserve the right to refuse this training to anyone, for any reason including hygiene, attitude, and for safety reasons. ____________________  Contact us with questions.
